One Year Plan: Comprehensive English

Comprehensive English

A year of in-depth, intensive study for students at an advanced level of English with academic goals. After improving your oral fluency in the summer Intensive Program, take two terms of the Semester Program to reach upper advanced to academic level of English comprehension. 13 weeks of the Academic Communication Certificate will ensure successful transition to a university undergraduate program.

During your program, use the Activity Program to experience the best Calgary and area has to offer.

Move your English abilities to the next level! Prepare for the 13-week Semester Program with the two-week Language & Culture Course to improve your oral fluency and functional communication. Complete your studies by taking your English skills out of the textbook and into real life with the Intensive Program.

During your five-month program, use the Activity Program to experience Calgary and the Rocky Mountain’s best seasons: spring skiing in the Rockies, catching the sights at the Calgary Stampede, and whitewater rafting in Banff in the summer.
